Guns. For this city, it's a big issue. Now we don't have the problem comparable to American cities, but each gun death is huge news and fear of "Americanisation" a regular discussion topic.
Thanks to everyone that came to comment on yesterday's post! Great to hear from you all again. Anything new around here? I went to the forums, lots of the same old, same old there. (People really have to just chill out about the points!)

how are you doing buddy, we have to hook up for a beer one day, recently started posting here again, looks like moles are coming out of the holes ;-)
this place is much better if you don't visit the forums ;-)
both shots you posted are very good, this one is a typical americana canadian addition, recently I had a good chuckle when one person from states sarcastically asked ehh, are bad things happening in Canada(during a violance debate between canuck and a yankee)? we tend to have this skewed perception that all that is going on down there and not up here, not exactly the case though.

Good observation on the forum. I agree with you on that.

Very well seen and composed, Alex. Your documentary skill is as evident here as in your shots from the Philippines a few years ago.

Very interesting picture, and I like the note, too. What kind of store advertises itself like that, anyway??
