Hello all, it's been a long while since I've come to visit TE and I hope everyone is well. I took this yest as I was walking home, I decided to do some random photos on the way and was pretty happy with the takings.
This is of a window washer near University Ave and College St.

We are adjacent on the gallery page this morning--it always pays to have worthy neighbors. Welcome back to TE! This is a clever idea, very well executed. Normally of course one cannot get away with so much blank white space, but you were aesthetically wise enough to see that it would work here. We see the very same vast emptiness that the window washer must work above, the abyss that's his constant companion.
But if you're going to put your name on a photo, I think it's essential to make a frame and put it only there! The text is a definite detraction. Otherwise great. Regards, Ken.

Very spectacular view, not common to see that's for sure. I like the graphics, the strange POV, the idea is awesome and I salute it, I really enjoy this escape from every day photos.

An amazing shot..I love the use of negative space and the pattern of the windows. The shot had me confused for a while but have to admit I really like ur perspective.
Am new here but can say "Welcome Back" and I hope to see more of your posts.
Thanks for sharing

I like the POV, and the way you positioned the subject.
Also B&W is very effective. I think there is an overall lack of sharpness which is a little disturbing, for this very clean picture where each detail plays its role.
I do not know if it is intrinsic of the picture or it is due to the resolution of the posted version.

I was imagining about a person walking on road until I open the picture. Its a creative picture give different kind of feeling. The Black and white setting suits the picture. Good POV, and good selection of color.

It is simple as this: goes straight to my favs.
Would just regret the copyright on the image, killing a bit of the magical feeling.

Nice to see you back Alex, and nice to see that you've retained your great style of photography. Some great minimalism here, one of those kinds of shots that you have to look at for a few seconds to figure out what we're looking at and what angle you've taken this at. Great work.

Hi Alex. Great to see you posting again. I like a lot of this; I think the composition is bold and really works. However, it is just too contrasty, with too much pure white for my tastes. Finding a way to tone down the sky would be a big plus in my eyes. Good eye to catch this.
