Exactly the same time and location as this image taken by Mike, just a different angle. Mike is not only a great photographer and singer as we all know;-) but also a great writer, so please refer to his note if you want to learn anything about this location. As for my contribution, well I simply like taking pictures with dogs in them.
Special thanks to Mike for teaching me his ps skills.

Now I will go over to Mike to check out his doggies. Yours look very funny to me, here too in Ottawa doggies get royal treatment, in most cases (and so they should). I like the whimsical aspect of this, the triangles enclosed by the three dogs. I might go and upload a dogshot myself... :-)
off to Mike's dogs.
Am always curious to see how the same scene is shot by two great photographers!

I just love how whimiscal this one is-- that woman with the lap dog midway through her muffin, that is absolutely brilliant! I couldn't work out how to include the woman and her dog, I was too focussed on the two mutts tied to the table. I much prefer yours over mine, the feel of the place is in this picture; it's inferred in my own rendition.
And this is very much a colour shot-- nowhere near as strong in B/W, so it's even possible on a grey day like that one.

Great photo of a day life scene. The composition is very good and the colours excellent. I really like the way you pictured the three dogs and the lady. It is quite funny. Well done.

I prefer this pov (sorry Mike), more interesting. Not showing the full dogs but onmy the tails is pretty well thought and well designed ... Lovely timing with the tails towards the chairs and the eating lady giving some dynanims revealing some details (the pigeon, the dog on the lap), etc.... Overal shapes, curves from the chairs, tables, pavements are quite pleasing too.
From my own taste, I find this photo a little bit redish ...
Thanks, Alain -

Hello Peter. An interesting picture with "hid" contents and wonderful graphic elements. Composes very beautifully and well taken. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

Very clever, Peter - "tails" and no "heads". Tails can be very expressive as you demonstrate here. I also like the automnal hues you've worked into this picture. The compo works mysteriously but very well, I must say, right from the thumbnail.
All the best,

Hi Peter, I have seen almost a dozen of your photographs, and I wish I could post comments on all of them, but I am certain that I'll run out of words sooner or later...and might just repeat how great all your images are...that's a given...
i found a trend in your images, a common thread perhaps ...all your shots reflect the enormous amount of thought process that goes behind each one of them...and the incredible part about this phenomenon is that so much thinking is translated into action in just a fraction of a second...and incredibly enough each carries a meaning...much deeper than the immediate visual impact each of your image leaves on the audience...
