This is the second (and last) pic from Fujiko Nakaya's 'Fog in Toronto #71624.'
Here you can see jets of mist being sprayed into a crowd of people young and old having fun in a suddenly different Philosopher's Walk at U of T.

Fantastic work again Alex, similar to your shot from yesterday in regards to the mystery which surrounds the scene. Theres a bit more of a sense of eerieness with this one, as if we should be afraid of the creatures in the distance.
I've enjoyed your unique view on this event.

Great work, Alex.
Out of two I prefer this one for its cleariness of message.
I can only imagine your threesome group.
Kinda highly spirited photographers in the last studium of deliric excitment, trying to capture the essence of this event.
Killer for me.
Pure and simple.

That's very well seen Alex, I wish I'd spent more time up above the generators instead of running around like a blind fool in the mud with everyone else...
Love the circular effect of the spokes of mist and the heads popping out of the central blankness; indeed the greyscale probably best captures the effect that the artist intended-- pity the weather and location weren't compliant enough to give the fog some defining shape.

I am going to disagree with others on bw here, not that I am against it in this case but to me it looks digitally not pleasing and too much boring grey, perhaps with higher contrast with more brights would be better, on film like tri-x this could have been a complete winner.
I do however agree with others on the overall compo and effect, and this would go very well with my UFO encounters and abductions idea.

This is an unusual way to document a Nuit Blanche.
Mysterious and anxious the atmosphere that you have gathered...

an excellent one again Alex!
The tilt is perfect and I like the mystery here.

what actually puts me off in this photograph is the obvious tilt.. the feeling your trying to hard to do something is far stronger than the feeling created by the tilt itself and infact it makes me wonder if the tilt is of any use also.. which in turn makes me wonder what made peter comment on this.. :)
(i hardly come online now, but when i do.. i usually trace peter's footsteps to see if there's anything interesting :))
i think you should look through the viewfinder unaware of the composition, but extremely aware of what you feel when you look through it..
at the end of the day it's you who'll know if you felt the photograph or you just composed it.. and stick with whatever makes you happy :)

A very " avant-garde" picture these days. When I see these, I think that the taste of classical photography is a turning point, and I try also to understand and appreciate this
I wish you an excellent week-end - Izzet

B & W is a great way to capture light and shadow. You have done a very good job of doing just that. I don't know how you were able to get just the shadows of the human subjects but it is great. It is too bad most movie pictures are not shot in B&W, you would be great a a cameraman Alex.

Hi Alex. Very cool shot I think. Hard for me to critique it, as it is not the kind of shot I have the eye to take; I wish I did though. The lighting and shadows are great as is the positioning of the people. The b&w works for me, but I sense a slight blue tone and am not sure if something else might be more apropros. Not sure. Good one

This is a classic one. I like the more or less abstractness in it. Really beautiful take with a nice tilt very effective.

Great shot Alex, shadow and lighting, great mood like from horror movie or fantasy.

Hello Alex! Make no mistake about it, I like the tilt. Excellent creation that's left me contemplating it for some time.

Just cool. Really can't say anything else. Square format works, tones are killer...
