Photographer’s Note
Springtime on a farm means equipment repairs and maintenance. The grass is growing high and the rotary cutter needs a new deck. Sparks were flying as the grinding wheel cut through the old one. It's good to have a handy man handy! Early evening, hazy sky.

Good action shot. I like the way the sparks fill the frame and all point back towards the grinding wheel, which is the focus of the picture. There's a great look of concentration of the guy's face and it creates an area of high energy between his eyes and the tool.

Hi, Linda,
I agree, the sparks are great, and they do all make us look right at the focal point, which of course the man is doing. A compelling view!
Best wishes,
Matt

Amazing capture of the sparks, almost like fireworks jumping out of m screen. The man's posture adds to tne intensity of this photo and of his task.
Well captured. The sky is overexposed you may want to play with the idea of cropping it.
In this photo the mundane becomes artistic.
