Photographer’s Note
Spring has come very slowly to Southern Ontario this year, with false steps and then back into the windy chill and threat of frost. The lilacs have been poised to open for several days now, but just cannot bring themselves to blossom. The riot of colour and aroma which will accompany the blooms just teases us to wait, yet, just a little while more.

Hey Linda,
you won't believe, but when it comes to scents, lilac is my favourite flower (together with hyacinth). We used to have a tree in a front garden...
Also, I've been talking about lilacs to my friends for past two days intensively - and now YOU come up with this shot. Amazing!
Beatiful big frame filled with ready to open lilacs bunches and its heart-shaped leaves.
Did you take this with full zoom or macro settings (as it seems as if you had a slight breeze moving the flowers while focusing)?
Have a good weekend,
Robi
