A cold but clear day in Toronto. There was an incredible charm to this city that I have not experienced elsewhere. The most memorable moment was talking to a homeless man who spoke in a high pitched nasal and kept calling me "Doc". He was busy carving Archangel Michaels from blocks of soap. He offered me one after I have him a loony but, for some reason I will never understand and always regret, I turned it down.
Anyhow, I liked this image for the crazy splay of power lines ahead of the old cathedral structure and the sharp blue sky.
PS: adjusted levels to boost contrast, unsharp mask, frame.

Very powerful urban picture, gathering architectural motives with strictly traffic and information signs.
Perhaps a little bit confused, mainly because of the multiplicity of wires, but this was an inconvenient you couldn´t certainly avoid. The verticality, the close plan and the contrast of the cathedral against the clear blue sky helps to strenghten the whole.
