Beautiful night shot. One I would be proud of taking myself. Impressed that you didn't use a tripod, you have gained a great result. The colours and the blue cast work excellently. Well done.

Wow Katie, your picture is amazing! You just had 2 points for it! It deserves more than that in my opinion. I like those urban night views. Well, in fact the shot is a bit blurred but the result is really good without a tripod.
Congratulation and a happy new year 2006.

Love this shot. It is a great image showing the night scene from the tower. Complimentary colors, blue/yellow make the image even better.

Beauty - good angle, and just the right lighting and "mist" off in the distance. :o)

Hi Katie - I stopped by at your impressive gallery, this one is very powerful...I was just thinking how the wind can pass thru this man-made barrier of tall buildings...and also imagining that all those lights turned off by a single switch...well nice shot! and good you took your backpack! Daniel

Hello Katie, this is an amazingly detailed shot of the city at night. You have done exceptionally well to get this clarity without a tripod. It shows well how tall the CN Tower is as it looks down on everything around it (and the observation deck is nowhere near the top!)

Excellent night shot. Wonderful colors and light. Beautiful city panorama.

Hi Katie - OK its a bunch of rectangular boxes witrhout striking innovative architecture but the view of the twinkling lights from above gives a fantastic impression, excellent work given the lack of tripod and the window glare is too minor to be distracting.

Remarkably good detail for one taken through a window with no tripod, Katie. I suppose the reason for so many windows being lit is that it gets dark early in December and people were still working at the time you took this. A little bit of window glare but not enough to spoil the shot. Cheers . . . David

Wow! Imagine what it would look like if you did have a tripod? I have never seen a night shot like this. Beautiful
