The wind coming off Lake Ontario was biting on this January morning, and the ice formations at the water's edge looked to me like the fangs of a deep-sea monster.
I wanted to get closer to take photos, but the ice can be very unstable here and the water perilously cold. So I took this photo from the shore.

I show frosen sea, and here the very cold photo from you. Spectacular view of the icicles. Brr, I am shivering just looking at it.

Very clever and innovative title, like it, it indeed looks like one. I feel cold even looking at this. The little bit of sky that you have left at the top has successfully created 3 layers in the photo. Thanks for sharing a nice photo.

Hi, white snow and ice are often difficult to photograph as they easily overexpose but you have managed well. Structure of ice is clear and the color white "does not jump" into eyes, and sea is nicely grey (I know exactly what is the foggy winter day with lack of colors). Oh yes....stay away from the dangerous ice.
P.S Thanks for adding me to your "favourites".

What an incredible sight this is. I love the narrow format and the subtle colours. The spray caught in the air is a lovely added touch.
Very nice work.
Kind Regards, Ann
