It was a day for being in the barn. The wind was really cold. The windows let in such beautiful sunlight that I couldn't resist photographing this little lamb.

hi kelley not telling!
i like the composition of this shot. the negative space works well. however the lamb is horribly overexposed. the loss of detail across its face and body is detrimental to the shot.
shots like this are difficult to control, but underexposing the shot slightly works well with digital photos. you can always wind the brightness up post processing. but overexposing means loss of definition that's impossible to get back.
the idea is great, it's just such a shame to see the picture blown out so much!

I could exactly say the same comments for your other picture with lambs, but here as the face is too much effected with over exposure, I can not get the same feeling as the other one. At some point it causes a deformation to think that it could be a rabbits face. But gives nice feeling of light and little cute animal.

I'm not sure I agree with the last comment; I think the shot is entirely charming. Such a good capture; the lamb has an almost human persona, really well done! Perhaps it COULD be improved with a workshop, but such skill is way beyond me!
