Valentine… Valentine… My sweet, little Valentine
Finally… It's the moment we've been waiting for…
What is the Valentine's Day impression for 2009 served on the plate by Polonaise?
My first thoughts were:
My previous images are not offending the noble members of the TE strong enough…
My second thoughts were: It is actually quite the opposite…!
My images are not soft enough... Not tender enough…
They don't represent love like all of the other Valentine's fotkas with love in them…
So, there it is…
A tender and lovable one… A love forever between the loving couple… they are so sweet...these Valentines in there...
(My neighbors across the aisle in my summer Trailer Camping site in 1998…)
A real love… The strong love… The very, very strong one…
When she put her arms around him
He's got a fever that's too hard to bear…
He's got a fever…
The extra support was installed to the shock absorbers and the struts of their trailer because of their love..
Love is not all about the chocolates and flowers and kisses and hugs and lifting or lowering the toilet seat…
The struts and shock absorbers are needed as well, if the love is strong enough…

Well: she looks like a tiger and he like a tired sweet lion. But this is love. Love. I am sure. ( what about the bruise she has on her arm? ) An old, solid, consolidated love. Bravo, George...this is love.

Shock absorbers?! ... you crack me up ! A hell of a good piece of real people photography, George. May your Valentine bring you as much happiness (and loooove) as this lady is bringing this good fellow here :-))

IMO, this photo deserves much more success than it had sofar, but you posted so many "Valentines" that day, this was diffusing our attention...
I liked it a lot the first time for the great humour and the improbability of it all (the difference of size between the wife and the husband, the wonderful and powerful breasts, their very different expressions), - this time it's the text that is a surprise, I really laughed out loud !!! => I think that this one, although not your first masterpiece, needs also a "fave" as it's so surrealistic and realistic in the same time, a bit Fellinian -- and sorry for all the faves that I gave you before Christmas, but I see that most of those photos have now been favored by other members.
... How I wish that we would not be limited to 100 !!!
Anyway : this one is really "extraordinary" : so "out of proportions" in all senses.
Therefore, I really love it. Congrats ! A photography full of humanity and *tenderness* (despite the appearances) !
(PS : seeing the other photos of yours that I've favored this time, I realise that there are a lot of big breasts - it's not that I'm making a fixation on that of course, but you know that I really appreciate your sense of exaggeration (among your many many other qualities) :-)) ...
And I'd like to request this woman who was performing on stage and looking at us with such a wonderful expression, over her glasses - an old picture... do you see which one ? Don't remember her name, unfortunately... If possible ... Please ... !!
Ah, these 15 minutes only permitted to correct the text, how I hate this limit - and the others too, this one makes me so nervous, English is not so easy to write - OK, enough now !
