Photographer’s Note

One of Ottawa's Main roads. Bank St. stretches from south Ottawa all the way to downtown. This night I had a variety of cars, trucks and busses making their way by me at what seems like light speed. It was kind of interesting when you stand on the side of the road with a tripod wearing all black. You should see how many people hit the brakes! The only thing I did in this picture was crop out an annoying McDonalds sign.

Very nice shot. i am a big fan of your long exposure shots. almost looks like a bus goes by in the shot, with the high up lights

Hi Chris - brilliant light streaks, the turning car is a really nice touch, I also like the starry streetlights.

les photos de nuit sont assez difficile à réaliser et celle-ci, bien que classique, est parfaitement réussie. Cela ressemble à certaines scènes du film "Koyaaniskatsi"
A quand des photos de bateau ou du QE2 ? :-))

I was going through your photos and observed that most of them are night shots..why so? this one was a real good one among them. the stary street lights adds to the spped. good one
