Somewhat secluded, although so close to the city center Rideau Falls offers stunning views every season of a year. Winter is special though.
Freezing cold, thick gloves, water droplets freezing on the lens… not easy working with the camera. Yet, it’s worth the trip, especially if you can time it to see the sunset.

Quite an original and very fine composition. I like the good DOF and the sharpness of the foreground with the lovely textures of the snow and rock. Being a contralight the conditions were difficult but you mastered them very well. I love the pinkish color of the snow lit by the last sunshine and the sense of distance created by the city skyline.
