Photographer’s Note
More tulips near Dow's Lake.
"The first Canadian Tulip Festival was held in 1953 to celebrate the spring bloom of 100,000 tulips. The bulbs were given to Ottawa in 1945 by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands to thank the city for providing a safe haven to Holland’s royal family during the Second World War."

Hola Paul.
Wonderful composition, very good shot with the colorful tulips and the people enjoying the festival in a peaceful neighborhood of Ottawa. The tree branches in the fg creates a nice natural frame.
TFS.
Best regards

The tulip plot is a long one just in front of some houses. Both the lawn and trees define the place pureness. Lots of people seem to be attracted by the very vigorous plants perhaps to live the beauty of the day. Regards. Domingos
