Winter is special at Niagara Falls - the crowds are long gone, the breeze is deeply cold and the mist that rises from the crashing torrent as it hits the bottom is wonderfully chilling.

Bravo!

winter is not so good time to see Niagara, maybe from Canadian side it looks better. But when the river below is frozen you can't go with a boat. I was also there in winter but only on American side. But impressive view anyway. great capture.

I remember the impression Niagara falls had on me when I saw it for the first time, the size and the absolute power of nature. I like how you captured these qualities in this tight framed composition.
Thanks for sharing

The power of the falls is still evident, even with pieces of it frozen. The tight and close view lets us really see the water as it cascades down, and I like the mist, too. It must have really been cold when you visited. I went to the falls many years ago in late October, and it was already cold and icy then.
