I like the opposition between the painted face which is static and on focus, with the blurred faces of the two men due to the slow shuetter speed. This is one more photograph with harsh contrast that works well, IMO. Even if it might not be to the taste of everyone, I enjoy looking at the results of the way you explore your own creativity. There is a sort of "dégradé" from the left (overexposed areas) to the right (shadows and darker areas. Curiously, the fact that the first man has a clear shirt and the one in the background a dark one, matches well the balance of the scene, that I mentioned previously.

aaah nice one...
they don't know that they're being watched ..
reminds me of all these funny horror movies.. in which people are walking around in a house/haunted house and the eyes of some painting are following them
and you've also created the scene so well with the tilt.
if it was a proper photograph.. and if you've managed to get the face, then i don't know if you would have been able to create the feeling of 'being watched"
nicely done peter
take care :)

I recognise the spot from your 'Rules' photo, Peter! ;-D
I like this high contrast b/w work and the way you captured the front guy's turning his head towards you, and the graininess.
I also find interesting what's on the wall behind him (sort of mixed artwork or 'something over something').

Ha! That's some good creativity you got there sir ;) As Gal mentions the high contrast is perfect for this shot. And I like the white and black shirts too--I just wish that the order were reversed with the white shirt being in t he shadow and the dark shirt up front.
hey Peter, it doesn't seem like you're haveing a hard time with subjects!
Honestly though, one of the advantages of having to hunt for photos is that you really have to think about it. That's where this creative shot came from I'm sure.

This one too is a well-captured surreal image that sketches effectively a moment in urban life. I like the blur of human figures...creatures of time who wish to transcend it.

So your style of pictures has very much changed. This is another very good piece peter. I think the quality comes very much from this distinct painted face, there forever, with a "bande dessinée" look against the 2, temporary only, blurred figures. The tilt helps organizing & fitting the triangle of the 3 faces in the frame. The painted face does bring this "1984 - big brother" flavour.
very good job peter;

Dla mnie bomba. Pomysl jest? -jest, kompozycja jest? -jest, swiatlo i kontrast jest? -jest?. Ale najbardziej podoba mi sie klimat -jak z mafijnego filmu lub raperskiego teledysku. Aha i ostrosc skierowana idealnie.

This appeals to me a GREAT deal (obviously strong cinematic content...!)
The straw-hatted goon in front and his "minder" behind, and the pronounced tilt to the image. Frst class all the way!

another image i have to comment on since i'm a fan of street art =)
this composition works so well for me, the characters walking through, almost look like gangsters, what is their story i wonder.. and the face just sitting there in the corner..all so very graphic
anyway i think i'm rambling
love your work
