This limestone house was built in the early 1870s in the Italianate Revival style for a hardware merchant in Elora. It is now a protected residential heritage property. Elora is noted for its nice limestone buildings. The local quarry where the stones were mined is now a popular Provincial Conservation area, with an excellent “swimming hole”, surrounded with 12 m high cliffs and a large wooded area.

This is truly a beautiful house. Your inage is very well framed and the distance on the alley gives deepness toward the door. The good light enhances the colors and the sharpness of the details is very good.

Hi Barnabas. A very attractive building and a fine composition. Light is perfect, the colours subtle and endearing. Friendly look about the whole place. Regards. Klaudio.

A very picturesque building and display, the flowers without doubt add a tonne of charm to this. A perfect head on composition that suits the subject really well.
