Photographer's Note
The church is located on Water Street South in Galt on the left bank of the Grand River. Looking at a building, it is easy to forget the life and experiences which took place inside. In my late teens (early 1950s), I held the post of organist and choir leader. Already, at that time, the church attendance was light and management was having a problem obtaining a pastor.
Eventually, the church became no longer viable and the building was purchased by the City of Cambridge. In October of 1983 it became the Cambridge Arts Theatre - home to the Galt Little Theatre (GLT) that operates and maintains the building to this day. The theatre seats 225 patrons who attend the seasonal events of GLT.
