[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My first post of the year had to be something I took this year.
The sky was incredible tonight so while dinner was cooking I quickly went down to the street and across (to the tracks) and took a few photos. This is one of three that are worth sharing in my opinion.
I always say that of all the places I've been, the sky in Ontario is the moodiest.

Hi Kelley!
Good photo - if I were you I'd come closer to those poles or to the trees to make them more prominent, just to have a "subject" in the photo.
The sky was incredible indeed - I took over 60 photos from my Thornhill balcony, maybe I'll one of them here tomorrow.

Deep red sky, that my first impression. Oh it just gives such a nice warm summer feeling.
Composition is excellent, the railway works great to lead the view and really catch the attention of the viewer. Maybe a bit too dark, but that doesn't matter.
It is great photo of the new year.
Thank you for sharing.

You are right it is a moody sky .. how evocative it is has been amplified wonderfully by the train tracks winding off to the distance.

I like your moodie sky like our own skys here in Nova Scotia. Very nice capture of the red after sunset colours, nice POV and etc.
