Today is the first day of Winter here in Canada.
To most Canadians like myself, this means snow and really cold weather. We normally need boots and big, warm hats and scarves to keep warm. Tonight it was just below the freezing mark with no snow in sight.
I wish there were some snow. With Christmas only 4 days away, it's not looking like a white Christmas in Barrie, Ontario this year.
Despite the lack of cold and snow, the city still puts out its "Magic of Winter" festival of lights at one of the Bay-Side parks, Heritage on the North side of the bay.
Tonight, in an attempt to put ourselves in the Holiday spirit, my Husband and I went to see the "show". It was really quite pretty. I'm glad I brought my tri-pod and camera and managed to capture some good photos.
In the background of this photo you can see the curb in the Bay and the lights from the side of the city where we live.
Enjoy and if you are lucky, happy holidays!

Kelley,
What can I say but that I like Christmas lights. These are well done. The Christmas lights are nice and sharp. I like how you have place the lights of the city behind. Did you get snow for Christmas?
regards,
Rob
