This shot was taken at our local Marina where my friend and I took a walk mid morning. It was extremely calm the moment before I took this shot but just when I was getting the camera ready a few ripples showed up. However, it depicts the masts in an interesting wavy pattern.
I just got the Canon Powershot S1 IS on Thursday and had to take a few shots to try it out. It will take a little time to get used to it, but I am very happy with it right now. |

This is very pretty. The colours are nice and you did a good job including all the boats and their reflections in the frame. It's a good pic, but missing that little extra umphh! Maybe something in the foreground? or a boat of a diff colour?
Cheers Joan!
very 'fresh' photo, like the clear reflection with the tiny rimples in the water. Good colors!
