[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Although this photograph was taken in 1996 the tree remains alive but sits in a different setting. A golf course has been built at this location and the tree was preserved, thankfully!! The white sky has always been disappointing to me; I would have preferred a blue sky that day and would have used a polarising filter to enhance it even more! Unfortunately some sharpness is lost to scanning.

Hi, an unusual tree, it has survived well and is a beautiful colour. Sometimes we just have to work with what we have and grey/white skies can be difficult. A nice shot regardless. Jean

WOW! Your subject is unique and very respectable. Thanks for sharing this miracle of Life with us. Great shot. It could be much better with a clear blue sky as you say.
