[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The original Roman Catholic chapel in Arnprior was established in 1857. As the congregation grew, this was enlarged in 1869 and a new church constructed by 1873. As the catholic community outgrew each successive church, the present massive Gothic-style church was constructed around the original building. One of Arnprior's significant landmarks, this church was completed in 1908. Source: The city of Arnprior web site.

L'érection initiale d'une chapelle catholique à Arnprior remonte à 1857. En raison de la croissance de la communauté catholique, elle fut agrandie en 1869, puis ce fut la construction de la présente église en 1873. De style gothique, l'imposante église se veut l'un des symboles de la ville d'Arnprior. Elle fut achevée de construire en 1908.
