Photographer’s Note
The Tablelands (the red-coloured rocks) are a geological wonder found in Gros Morne National Park. They are part of the earth's crust, exposed on the earth's surface, and apparently that doesn't happen very often.
In the foreground is the small community of Woody Point, a short passenger ferry ride from where I stood in Norris Point but a looong drive around Bonne Bay.
