Photographer’s Note

I have wanted to post a picture from my home country for some time now. Here is a shot that I took while visiting my grandmother in Nova Scotia. An overcast day provided for a beautiful sunset. As I stood on her balcony watching the colours change I saw a flock of birds flying by. Sometimes the picture just showes itself to you.
Post production was a touch of leveling, some cropping, and a USM.
I would like to thank those who have helped me with their critiques, I love the feed back. Keep it comming!

Magnifique ciel en feu, un peu une vue en cinemascope et mêem si la bande jaune semble un peu surexposée, l'ensemble flatte l'oeil.
On distingue très bien les oiseaux

Hey man, another great shot! the sunset is amazing! hmmm to add a not what about raising the levels just a tad to bring out the birds a little more? that may screw up the colours, but bring out the birds... Just an idea

I agree the sky does seem to scream fire.
Absolutely beautiful. I love how it projects an emotion of excitment with the movement of the birds. Well done. :)
