Photographer’s Note
red shore and red sea, because of red soil there.
right B&W striped building is the west point lighthouse.
the contrast is a little enhanced.

Dear Akihisa,
VERY beautiful landscape view! I am amazed by the colour of the soil... but this natural colour can be explained, of course.
It's interesting that you chose this POV, with a dead snag in the FG - a perfect balance for the lighthouse and the trees near it: it helps to see the perspective better and creates a very good depth. I also like the left part of the photo with the low menacing clouds - also a perfect addition to the snag on the right! It's also curious how these two snags in the FG, and the line of the sea, all together lead the eyes right to a distant point at the horizon!
This is one of the most curious and interesting photos I have ever seen. It's really worth a longer studying and enjoying.
Kind regards,
Elena
