L'industrie de la pêche reste la plus importante activité économique du village avec environ 40 vaisseaux dans un port de petits vaisseaux. La pêche aux homards est le but principal pour la plupart de la flotte et durant le mois de mai et juin, on peut acheter des homards frais de la côte nord de l'IPE dans un marché de poissons sur le quai du port ou directement des bateaux.

Bonjour Serge,

Le phare est bien placé dans le cadrage. la prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du phare. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Serge - This beautifully distinctive clap-board building makes a fabulous subject and I like this presentation very much. Cleverly composed with the the lower margin of the building lining up neatly with the horizon so that the full extent of the building is projected against the attractive sky. The red detail makes a very good contrast to the blues and whites. Additionally the light is very good giving form and definition to the architecture. Lovely clean work. Warm regards rosemary

Hello Serge,
Excellent capture of this attractive lighthouse. Well chosen point of view shows us two aspects of the interesting architecture; I like the slightly upward angle and the contrast offered by the grass against the white-painted woodwork. The image is nicely lit and the sky pleasing to the eye. Top quality presentation.

Hello Serge,
This is excellently captured wooden lighthouse (?)building from very well selected viewpoint. The view from lover angle makes it majestic and dominant. The high grass, excellently placed in FG, allow a nice 3-D feeling. Perfect light and excellent contrast against blue sky. Very well done.

A distictive building, wonderfully crisp with its white walls and terra cotta roof. It is sharply exposed and very well composed, standing proud against the blue of the sky.

Note intéressante à propos de la pêche au homard. Je n'aime pas vraiment les fruits de mer, mais j'étais curieux de voir cela dans directes homardiers de vente.
J'ai aimé la structure de ce bâtiment. Les couleurs sont excellentes et la netteté.

even before looking at the location, i guessed that this one was taken in PEI, and i was right!
what a difference the clouds make....take away the clouds and some of the charm is lost.
lovely subject, and with all the primary colors is looks great.
