Photographer’s Note
The most photographed landmark in the Maritimes. A haven for photographers, this scenic and quiet town of Peggy's Cove became well known when Swiss Air Flight 111 crashed near the area. A memorial now stands on the shores leading to the lighthouse.
About the photo:
It was around 3pm when I took this photo and the fog is starting to set in. Words cannot describe the magnificent beauty of this place. No significant alteration was done on the shot except for cropping (to meet TE's guideline) and unmasked sharp.

Hi,
Excellent color and balance. I would prefer a slightly sharper picture, but the crop is just right.

Well chosen low point of view. It's good that these rocks in the foreground are included.
I think photo has some small technical problems. Color look too red and there is some noise in the sky. Also some extra sharpening would be good. I think noise is not comming from the camera, but is a result of JPG over-compression. Your uploaded photo size is only 92 KB, while maximum size allowed here is 200 KB.
I have tried to correct these problems in the workshop version.

Hi Ernesto
I think the WS was well executed as it took the reddish tinge out of the sky and cleaned up the noise.
Great compsition. There are usually lots of tourists about.

Hi Ernesto, as others have said, the composition is good, although just a touch of sharpening would improve the shot. cheers, Steve
