| The Digby Neck is a long, narrow peninsula on the northwest shore of Nova Scotia. A five-minute ferry boat ride connects it with Long Island at the western tip. Tiny villages dot Long Island. About 4km past Tiverton on Long Island, watch for a little sign that says "Balancing Rock." Take an easy 2.4 km walk though the woods and then walk down 260 steps to a coastal view. Looking left, this is what you'll see. Next time, I'll show you Balancing Rock. |
