Photographer’s Note

Wagmatcook is a small community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in Victoria County on Cape Breton Island.

Cape Breton contains five reserves of the Mi'kmaq Nation, these being: Eskasoni, Membertou, Wagmatcook, We'kopaq/Waycobah, and Potlotek/Chapel Island. Eskasoni is the largest in both population and land area.

Hello Alex,
This took my eye immediately I saw it in the thumbnails. Great composition. Wonderful colours.
Great use of verticle. Nice reflections. Good DOF. Nice clean clear sharp shot. I like the overall framing.

such a peaceful feeling pervades here. And the green boat really stand s out in all this purple. By the way...did the color of the water come out like this?

Beautiful still atmosphere, with nice blue-purple colors. I woulh have moved the boat a bit towards the upper part of the frame, taking more water at the bottom, as it has this fantqastic violet color.
