Photographer’s Note
Shot from my deck during a short odd thunder and lightning storm. Which past throu in a very short time. Not giving anyone time to set up for a better photo, I was lucky to get what I got.
-Also see treknature for the other lightning photo.
-For I only had time to get two. Lightning will strike
where it wants not always where you are pointing the
camera. Also not a great shot,but I tried.

What is remarkable here is that you capture lightning after midnight in the middle of winter!!! I remember the rumbles of the thunder as the storm passed thru!
In futute I would turn off the porchlight, what? Tfs, Jay
