The skies were overcast (for 2 weeks) which kept the contrast down and enriched the colours. Lunenburg is a very colourful city.

One of my favorite spots from my trip to Nova Scotia this summer. I like this shot quite a bit, and I think that using the telephoto from quite a ways out was the best way to go for this shot--it makes all the houses feel more condensed. Great subject and colors.

Excellent composition showing the boats with the colorful houses behind them. The lighting and colors are outstanding with nice sharpness and detail. This is a picturesque fishing village and you have presented it well.

Hello Paul! Lunenburg is very famous and many Germans and Swiss live there, but I came to this town with my Nova Scotia friend as a Swiss tourist so no family connection! Nice view you chose of this colorful town and I like the little sailing boat parking in the bay and I actually like that you left just a little water and plenty of the room for the colorful rest. Good, I like it. Barbara.
