I love this giant pine tree on the edge of our lot, and thought it was beautiful in this snow-covered state against the blue sky after an unexpected Spring snowfall.

Hi Mike,
When I saw the thumbnail of this photo I thought to myself that it looked very much like Halifax yesterday and sure enough I opened it and it was taken here! I like the composition very much. The lighting and colours are beautiful. I lent my camera to someone yesterday and was sorry not to be able to take photos. Even though I'd rather be taking pictures of spring...

nice capture, but the pine doesn't look so great, maybe you should have captured it in comparison with something else, to make the comparison.
