This photo really creates a ghoulish mood with the b&w, shadows, gloomy sky, tilted angles of the graves and even with a raven in the sky. Even the grainy texture works here. Good job.

I really like this image, with lots of grain and shadowy light. I particularly like how the highlights are built up to a "glow". It all creates a strong feeling of what it's like to be there. The composition seems slightly off kilter, but I realize this is a hillside.

Bravo!! I was just about to agree 100% with everything Sam said about your picture, but then I studied the composition some more. The "davis" tombstone appears to be just about perfectly vertical as do the trees in the backround. This *really* enhances the mood for me--a world slightly off it's axis yet not at the same time. Do you have more photoshop creations?

Kudos. This is a great picture. Would like to have more details whether it was shot in B/W or processed in PS. For me, this picture is all about the glowing light. I would have skewed the picture though so that the base of the 'Davis' pole is straight and it provides an anchor point in the picture.

I really can't add any more to what has already been said, just that I love it!

Very creative! I've got to start playing around with Photoshop more. I like the infrared effect -- it adds so much to the mood. (Did you add the 'noise' as well?)
It's good that you took this in winter - wouldn't have worked with leaves on those trees!

Andrew, since the 24th of October last year you have not submitted anything else. Only one photograph and of a cemetery. Is this a message from beyond? Are you still with us? The image does not come up upon my screen when I try to view it. The whole image changes and becomes a scattering of black and white, however, in thumbnail it was a great image. I hope you will post an intro for yourself and further images. Perhaps you could look at the life side of life.

beautiful, I like it a lot. I imagine the noise is due to an old scanner/digital camera.

I love this. What a creepy picture! It has a great atmosphere. It's too bad you didn't tell us in a note how you created this effect. Good POV and well composed. Well done & TFS!
