[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
“Changing face of Quidi Vidi” is the name of this photograph taken last week on a walk. At least one stage was added during the last year and these fishing stages are becoming more abundant.
The reflection on the water was one of the reasons I took this will photo. This scene is minutes from downtown St. John’s but in some respects far away. It is a great place to walk and relax.

Beautifull photograph, beautifull work celebrate water reflection a lot of nice..

Hello Jim,
You captured a great reflection here, and in the thumbnail the snow on the hill and reflected in the water form an eye-catching triangle. I also like the colorful structures and the rugged yet tranquil feeling of this spot.

This is a great shot Jim. It does seem much further away from downtown St. John's if I had to guess...

I might have cropped a bit off the top, to cut out the sky, and try and get the focal point a bit higher instead of being right in the middle.

Regards,
David

Hi Jim,

Congratulations

Hi Jim, it's the composition that makes this one great. You have a great triangle created with that snow on the hill, and the reflection of it on the water. The small white boat just happens to be sitting at the perfect apex to that triangle. and the row of building bisect it. Awesome! The colour is good, you have good textures seen on the rock and in the water, but it is that white triangle that does if for me here.

Thanks, John

Great shot Jim, the color and richness of texture are super. The reflective surface being rippled is a nice touch and the overall is just great.

The triangle formes by the snow and its reflection caught my eye in the thumbnail. This and the fact its middle line matches the buildings makes the photo unique.
