The colors, the angles,the sky make this a perfect shot. I would prefer if the car were not in the picture, but that was, I'm sure, beyond your control.

De belles couleurs dans cet endroit que j'ai visité il y a déjà quelques années. L'angle et le cadrage sont bons. Dommage pour la voiture qui pollue un peu le résultat final.

Vous avez raison Robert, ça vaut la peine d'être vu. La pratique de brillamment colorer les maisons des villages côtiers est donc perceptible aussi dans la Capitale. Et pourquoi pas, puisque c'est joli.

the colors of these houses never cease to amaze me . Then I was a young boy, these houses were very cheap . Today however , much more expensive in price . Jim

Wonderful colours and building shapes make this a very interesting photo to look at. Helps with the fact that the road is not simply flat but uphill, so the buildings likewise rise to the left.

j'aime b ien ces facades colorées...recemment j'ai posté sur une ile a l'opposé du globe: Burano, ou les facades, dans un style tres differents, etait tres colorées...
Ici, on dirait une rue de SanFrancsisco...est-ce c eque lon appelle le "style Victorien?"

So this is Newfoundland... colourful!
The bright light really brings out the best of the colours, and gives superb details in the architecture...
Interesting houses, pity with all the cables to disturb the view... Well framed street scenery!

Wonderful Maritime composition of this proud village clinging to the steep hill with its magnificently colorful homes. Beautiful clear colors with lovely details.
Lovely example of eastern North American aricrticure.

J'ai trouvé cette photo lumineuse dans vos "random photos". Les couleurs vives des maisons sont un régal pour les yeux, et ressortent très bien sur le bleu profond du ciel! C'est vrai que l'on peut considérer l'enchevêtrement des fils comme rigolo, et pourtant je crois qu'ils gâchent un peu le "paysage".
En tout état de cause, c'est une belle prise de vue!

This street view could easily be somewhere-else, like in San-Francisco, as I first thought it was.
Nice colorful houses, on a remote state, summer light that you were lucky to have on day visited.
