| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
“Welcome visitors” is the name of this photo taken that the first annual Heart and Stroke Foundation Walk held in Bowring park. These working animals, members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, provided excitement for the participants. It was a sunny but cool day.
These two horses and riders are commonly seen around the city and our photograph quite frequently. They are very photogenic
I tried to get more information of the website but it is down for construction. |

A few things are not all right in this image. First of all, the light is rather harsh and the luminosity range is too wide for the sensor to handle. Consequently, the detail in the dark hair of your subjects is mostly lost. Fill-in flash would have helped a bit here. The crop is too tight, amputating hooves and not giving the cops enough head space. Finally, the composition is quite obviously wrong: you left space behind the horses, instead of leaving it in front, where it usually belongs. Sorry to be harsh in my rating, but this looks too much like a random snapshot for the high-end gear you're using.
Hi,Jim!
Good shot
