Photographer’s Note
Cabot Tower or Signal Hill is shown high on the cliff in this picture. The purpose of this image is to show how elevated and vertical the Tower is above the sea. As you can see from the image, there is a walking trail far below the cliffs. This trail is used a great deal all year round as the weather permits.
This is a view which I seldom see because I do not frequent Fort Amherst. I guess, without a camera, I have no reason to visit this location. The one good thing about a camera is that you visit places you never would otherwise.

Lovely colors! Deep blue sea, reddish hint on the cliffs. Nice soft shapes of rocks that have been wore down by ages of thick layers of ice. Strange pathway that traverse the cliffs, and then the tiny little tower on top of it all. Everything in focus and perfectly exposed.
Great shot!
