Most people would take a shot of St.John's city and the harbour from the popular Signal Hill. This is a shot from another angle when I visited Shea Heights and this point is called Father Shea Lookout Point. The big triangular building in the distance is called "The Room" and there is an Art Gallery inside it. Craig Macintosh also took a shot of this building with the title Colourful St.John"s Collage"
So with these you should have a better impression of St. John"s.

Looking at this scene, i'm not sure exactly where you took this photo from, but you have certainly intrigued my interest!
this is certainly a new point of view that many people will have not seen before.
