“Petty Harbor” is the name of this photo and it was taken this morning. The fall colors are very pronounced. This tiny fishing community is located minutes from St. John’s. This small village is where they made the famous movie “Orca” starring Richard Harris.
We took many photographs, especially of the fishing boats. I will post some at a later date.

Very colourful shot. Could be a little crisper, but hey, I'm in no position to say that! (*_^)
Beautiful Province you have...

Wonderful picture, vivid colors, sharpness and dof. A nice fishing village that would certainly make a nice postcard or even a thousand pieces jigsaw puzzle.

Hi Jim, I left home a little over a week ago, before the fall colors appeared. Nice to see that you included the colorful Alder in the FG of the Harbour. No matter what day you drive through here, a photo oppertunity can be found. Great job Jim, well presented. Regards Rodney
