Photographer’s Note

“Going Down” is the name of this photograph and it was taken a senior women’s rugby game between the Dogs and the Swilers in stripes. It appeared to be a rough match and several women were helped off the field.
The determination of the player who is tackling pays off his she did bring down the ball carrier. She wouldn’t let go!
This rugby game was played in Mount Pearl on a very warm and windy day and I believe the temperature was around 30°C.
