Photographer's Note

Gannetts are found everywhere in Newfoundland, especially around the Cape St. Mary where there is a huge colony. The configuration of the cliffs allows you to view them from above (in the background) while some are flying very close filling up the sky.

I set my camera on Aperture priority for this shot (1/750), put the lens on 100mm and concentrated on getting the right bird.

I had the experience of a previous time on the site, so this time I decided to take only 1 roll of film.
