| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
“Church in Bay Bulls” is the name of this photograph. To be more precise, this is Saint Patrick’s church. As you can see, this photograph was taken on a very sunny day. Do you know the name of the saint statue on the right? You can think about it for a while.
This place of worship has a large number of statues on the church grounds which are unusual to see.
I tried a black and white of this photograph but they did not appeal to me.
This photograph was cropped, Level adjusted, sharpened in the lab color U. S. M. 70, 2, 1, and saved for the web.
PS the name of the statue on the right is Saint Patrick. |

Nice picture with very good colours and good composition, you managed well with the bright white.
The barrel distortion is very visible, but in this case it helps the composition.
Nice and sharp, Jim. I would the contrast would make a good B/W. The sky looks a bit over polarized...it's almost black on my monitor. Since this is mainly a graphic shot, you might want to get the verticals and horizontals straight. Increasing the saturation might bring out the colours in the door and window trim. The only reason I'm pointing out all these minor corrections is because you are such a great photographer, and I think you might want to aim for perfection. :-)
