Photographer’s Note
I have seen a few photos of the Confederation Bridge here in Trek Earth which are beautiful.
Anyway, I thought of showing you my interpretation or should I say my version of the Confederation Bridge which I took while on vacation in the Maritime Provinces of (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Islands).
A little history...
The Confederation Bridge was built after the Government of Canada put forward a request for proposal on alternative mode of traveling between the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. They require that the proposed alternative route be cost-efficient,fast and reliable. Thus, in 1997, the bridge was finally finished.
Also worth mentioning is that the bridge is the longest bridge in the world(as per the confederation bridge website) - 12.9km long.
About the photo:
This shot was taken after a heavy downpour and the sun finally peeking and giving its glorious red-orange glow as it sets. This photo is as is, only a little unmasked sharp was done. A Hoya PL-CIR and a HOYA Intensifier filter was used and - it turned out pretty nice I in my opinion.
Hope you like it.

Thank you, Ernesto, I do like it!
I must admit, it was easy to convince me that this is the longest bridge in the world. It looks immense!
Great pov, lovely composition with the f/g plants and the colours really are amazing!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ernesto! I have never come as close to that bridge but only flew over but it is pretty impressive in both ways and I like how our eyes follow the line in your photo until it goes away, ending in the ocean ... well I hope it did not :) I like your filter work indeed, makes the sky even more exciting than it probably was. Very good! Regards ... Barbara.
My view (but you don't have to look or comment ... just for fun, to give another idea of the size): from above

Hey Ernesto,
I've seen A LOT of sunset pictures here on TE but yours is without a doubt one of the best. The warm colors are outstanding. I like how the bridge leads the eye through the picture. The POV works excellently for this shot. Congratulations!!!

Natasha

Hi Ernesto,
This is nice - I like the long meandering perspective of this spectacular bridge and the colors, well they are something else. It does seem that your filters and whatever did a pretty good number but the outcome is stunning. Well done and TFs. Gerald

Ce pont a un fort intérêt graphique que tu as très bien exploité. En plus, cette fantastique lumière du soir donne des couleurs splendides à ta photo. Très réussi!

Stunning photo. I love the orange, i'm a little concerned it was a bit over enhanced?
non-the-less, the colours are there, and they are spectacular.
I also like your choice of composition, and it is well focused all the way out.
Well done!
