Photographer’s Note
Another gray day on our trek through Canada. This rock formation is at the Hopewell Rocks park south of Moncton on the Bay of Fundy. Huge tidal changes (40 feet or more) twice daily and freeze/thaw cycles have eroded the softer materials from the cliffs you see in the background and created complex structures like this one.
Areas were highlighted (magnetic lasso), adjusted for brightness/contrast to remove glare, and sharpened for detail.
