[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For more than 150 years, this lighthouse on the northern tip of Campobello Island, known as "Head Harbour Light" to locals has guided mariners to safety in the environs of Passamaquoddy Bay near the Maine-New Brunswick border. In more recent times, its rugged beauty has also made it a popular tourist attraction.

This structure, with its distinctive red cross, was erected in 1829, some 21 years after the American West Quoddy Light was established on the Maine coast.

For more of its rich history, visit the official East Quoddy Lighthouse web site.

**Reposted to correct leveling of horizon. As Kath noted regarding the original post, this is a showstopper for many of us. Rotated 1.37 degrees counterclockwise to bring alignment back in place. Large post deleted from original and moved to here.**

Hi Jim,
Excellent POV allows us to see the whole lighthouse. Very clear colors and excellent details to this image. The gray rocks contrast nicely with the deep blue sea. I see you had a beautiful day for your visit to Campobello.
Regards, Tom

Hello Jim
Sorry for the delay.
Much appealing sea and land scapes are showned here on this perfectly-stitched panoramic view of a horse-shoe-shaped rock formation that features the glorious and nostalgic structure of a lighthouse.
Compliments for the judicious point of view for an overall appreciation of magnitude...and for the perfectly-leveled horizon line.
Best regards.
Robert
