Merhaba İzzet Bey, belki ilginç gelebilir ama bu fotoğrafta ilk dikkatimi çeken macunlu pencere camı oldu. O yıllarda pencerelerdeki macunlar çok belirgindi. Resme bakınca o zamanları hatırladım. Hatta küçük çocuklar kırılan camı yenilemeye gelen camcıdan macun alıp oyun oynarlardı.

Fotoğrafınız o yılların renklerini güzel yansıtmış. Samatya'yı bizzat gidip görmedim ama, İstanbul'un zamana yenik düşmeyen semtlerinden biri olduğunu, fotoğrafçılar için hâlâ iyi malzemeler barındırdığını duyarım hep. Ne derecede doğrudur bilmiyorum.

müthiş ve çok güzel bir kompozisyon.yaklaşık otuz yıl öncesinin olması küçük bir nostalji olmuş.özellikle penceredeki çocuğun duruş ve ifadesi son derece mükemmel görünüyor.ayrıca detaylarda çok güzel elinize sağlık.

A very fine shot from 'long ago'. The wistful expression on her face is priceless, and the bars over the window seem to say something meaningful. A delightful and affecting candid 'portrait'. I hope you are right and that she is living the happy life you imagine. Very nicely scanned and presented in simple style.

Hi Izzet,
This beautiful capture through the glass together with the muted colouring definately give an old fashioned feeling. I like her expression and the bars on the windows are a nice feature too. It is strange to think what she may be doing with her life now so many years later.

Merhaba Izzet Bey. Thirty years ago and taking great photos then and now. Wonderful moment of a little girl with a wistful look. I wouldn't be surprised if she was watching some boys playing some rough game and wondering why is the world a male domain. On the other hand, she could have been watching a few girls playing and she had not been invited, or... That is the beauty of this photo. one can create a hundred stories for that little face. I'm in China at the moment, and just logged in to say a few words about this wonderful capture from so long ago. Having a five-year old myself now, I am partial to such images, esp. when they are so lovely. Surprised you still have the exposure data. Polonaise has a point about the color cast, even though I did not detect it at first sight and still am not so much bothered by it. Should be easily fixable on PS. Best wishes,

Sometimes is very strange when you think how the times goes by.
But that's not the matter of the photo. It is true, it is an old picture. But also is true is a very good picture.
I see this photo and I understand much better why you are a teacher... no THE teacher of TE.
