[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Some men spending a very hot afternoon at a teahouse in the city of Mukalla in southeastern Yemen. The streets of Yemen provide an endless number of photo opportunities and very few people seem to have any objections to having their picture taken. The atmosphere is generally very relaxed.
This is a scan of a Kodachrome slide. The camera was a Canon F-1.

Hej Gert,
Much better colours in this scan! The photo shows the daily life here in a very positive way; I think that I could easily adapt this lifestyle. What´s in the round container, bread or what?

Despite the scanning the photo is very clear and good sharpeness. Its really a good daily life photo. In some way almost every body seems to like the situation as you wrote.

I suppose it's a occupational injury, but my eyes always seems to go to what ever its written on a photo and become a important part of the impression. ROTHMANS. It realese the picture from being picturesque to be a good daily life observation.

This one is also very good taste, precious shot of Yemenite people relaxing at the teahouse. I like this bold depiction that reduced the exposure a little and with strong contrast.
