Waterway between two continents, a photo from Istanbul, Marmara

Photographer's Note

A landscape from the European Part of Bosphorus ! This famous waterway is separating İstanbul between Asia and Europe. Ths capture taken from the European Part towards the Asian side.
If you travel twice a day over one of the two bridges over Bosphorus, than you can count yourself as a "frequent traveller between Europe and Asia" !!!

Boğaz'ın Avrupa yakasından (Emirgan sırtlarından bir görüntü).
İstanbul'u Asya ve Avrupa arasında ikiye ayıran bu su yolunun dünyada başka bir benzeri yok !
Günde iki defa köprüden geçen biri, Asya ile Avrupa arasında gidip gelen bir seyyah olarak adlandırılabilir !

Hello Mesut,
Vivid vegetation and colorful view, with the Bosphorus parting two continents, as noted.
POV chosen was perferct, shadows indicat it was high noon when taken, so the enhanced light gave also extra depth on image.

You have given us a choice of guidelines which ensures we investigate all parts of you lovely photograph. The trees and bushes play an important part in capturing our interest and framing the focal boat. A good dof keeps interest throughout.

Hello Mesut,

This is a very interesting POV with the curved roas then the straigt line leading to the water and the ship, creating good deepness. The framing with the large tree is well done. The people add perspective. The good light gave very nice natural colors and sharpness.

I really appreciate the warm and pleasant atmosphere here. It is hard to believe that this photo was taken some days ago. Winter has returned to Gothenburg, we have cold and rainy weather now...
