Photographer’s Note
English version :
Mambo Tango was the name of the wooden raft on which Che Guevara and his friend Alberto Granado travelled down to Colombia and Venezuela on the Amazon in the beginning of the 50's... It sounds funny, like "punch-drunk", "Tupsy-turvy".... and is intimately linked to the spirit of a journey...in which anything can happen.
That's how I love my journeys, with a good shake and rythm.... journeys that pitch!
That's how I enjoyed Yemen.... In Sanaa, even the houses pitch!

Hello Marine
Such bizarre architecture of Yemen - it does not look real although I know it is. TFS, Marlene

Hallo Marine,
the architecture of these houses is really interesting and in your picture you have well captured their beauty, maybe the contralight have not permitted a good contast of colors but it still a nice picture.
compliments!!!

Ciao Marine,
;-)
Merci,
Phil.

Looks like every owner of each house decided one day to draw their own house and build it,... et voila! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marine, great shot illustrating the facinating architecture in my favourite city. Could be a little sharper, otherwise great. Cheers, Steve

Bonsoir Marine,
Marc

Olá Marine, fascinating set of facades. Problably not looking so good there, but it has great potential as an image here. It's an attractive and exotic architecture - not monuments or Palaces, just buildings for common people. Love it.

hi Marine,
I have to thank you because if it had not been for your pictures of Yemen I would have never heard of TE.
I was googling for images of Yemen when I came across your photos - which I found instantly amazing. I actually look at them almost every day, because you manage to capture moods and atmospheres in such a fantastic and spontaneous way.
I'd like to have the guts to go to Yemen on my own, but until then I will travel through it with your pictures.
